The College of Biological Science and Technology (CBT) at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) aims to address the current global challenges and construct a healthy, affordable, and sustainable society through the concepts and approaches of Engineering Biological Science. The NYCU is the home to Taiwanese leaders in semiconductor and medical industries and practices, and it is an important incubator to numerous renowned corporations. The CBT functions as one entity and is composed of the Department of Biological Science and Technology, Institute of Molecular Medicine and Bioengineering, and Institute of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology. The CBT works in the interface of biology and chemistry, physics, and diverse disciplines of engineering. As such, it has numerous outstanding achievements in drug design, smart healthcare, bio-electronics and biosensing, bio-imaging, biomaterials, sustainable biotechnology, synthetic biology, structural biology, neural engineering, and bioinformatics. The CBT is currently looking for highly talented and motivated leaders to join its faculty. The intended start date of the position(s) is February 1st, 2022.

Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor
Applicant should share a similar vision and goal as the College of Biological Science and Technology and has an outstanding record in cutting edge research and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. He or she should also have a PhD degree in biotechnology, life sciences, bioinformatics, chemistry or biochemistry, physics, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer sciences, or other related disciplines.
In addition, successful candidates will be required to teach courses in English for the first three years of his or her appointment.
