I'm excited to write to you as the newly appointed Editor-in-Chief of The IJAITG Journal. I was delighted to be approached by the team of Inderscience, Inc. to explore this opportunity, and am pleased that we share the same bold/ambitious vision for this exciting new journal.
I have been fortunate in my career to have held a front-row seat for the rise of the IJAITG field. I have shared and crossed paths with many of you and recognize our enthusiasm for the topic. The main objective of IJAITG is to highlight agricultural innovation and technology discovery. IJAITG aims to explore the relationships between agricultural innovation and technology for sustainable agriculture. The international dimension is emphasized to overcome cultural and national barriers and to meet the needs raised by accelerating technological and ecological change and developments in global agriculture.
In the coming weeks and months, I hope you will consider submitting a paper to The IJAITG Journal. We strive to offer swift, fair, and constructive peer review, with editorial decisions made by practicing scientists. We are committed to showcasing these articles in our pages and working with all media outlets to ensure maximal visibility and coverage. Thus, I urge you to contact your librarian to ensure that your organization has access to the Journal from its launch date in 2019.
IJAITG provides a dynamic forum through which researchers can share agricultural research and thus aid innovation in education, business, community, environment, and government. IJAITG proactively promotes the utilization of technology in combination with business models to facilitate agriculture innovation in line with community entrepreneurship, which further helps accelerate agricultural development alongside industrial upgrading. My hope is that The IJAITG Journal will provide both impactful research and become the forum to build and connect the global Agriculture Innovation, Technology and Globalisation community.
The IJAITG Journal will debut 2019; articles will be published online shortly after acceptance and in print (four issues are planned in the first year) with flexibility for authors who wish to pursue open access options. I want to thank the dozens of talented luminaries and pioneers who have agreed to join the editorial board, an indication of the shared goals and hopes for this publication. Much like our community, this board is scientifically and culturally diverse and inclusive.
I am grateful to be entrusted with this responsibility and excited to see what discoveries you will make in 2019 and beyond. I look forward to the next chapter of the IJAITG saga and thank you for helping us validate your research and tell your stories.
