MOST-funded 3-year postdoctoral fellowship is available in Dr. Tien Hsu’s laboratory at Department of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, College of Health Sciences and Technology, National Central University, starting immediately. The research project focuses on the analysis of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment, with special emphasis on kidney cancer. The aim is to develop anti-inflammatory strategy for cancer prevention. Proficiency in molecular and cell biology is essential. Experience in animal (mouse) experiment is preferred but not critical. Compensation is in accordance with standard Ministry of Science and Technology postdoc salary scale and benefits.
Dr. Tien Hsu is Dean of College of Health Sciences and Technology (CHST), and is Taiwan Bio-development Foundation (TBF) Chair in Biotechnology and University Chair Professor in Biomedicine. CHST is a newly established college that emphasizes interdisciplinary research environment. The researchers can interact freely with other basic biomedical researchers, bioinformaticians, bioengineers, and clinician researchers. The laboratory specializes in tumor microenvironment and is collaborating with multiple hospitals and international laboratories.
