The Department of Industrial Management at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) invites applications for several tenured/tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty positions. The Department is one of the top Industrial Management programs in Taiwan. It offers BBA, MBA, and PhD degrees in Industrial Management, and currently has an undergraduate enrollment of about 310 and a graduate enrollment of about 250. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the qualification of the applicant. Candidates are sought with interests that complement and expand upon current research and teaching activities in the Department. Research areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
global logistics management
Applicants with expertise in analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence are particularly encouraged to apply. Successful applicants are required to have an earned PhD in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field. They are expected to develop and maintain a strong research program, to teach courses in English at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to provide service to the University and broader community.
The expected starting date is February 1, 2010. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled, but applications received by September 11, 2019 will be given full consideration.
