Fifteen Czech Universities Get Money to Fight Plagiarism

Fifteen universities have joined a project on fighting plagiarism. The project is lead by Masaryk University. Until now, the project has focused on revealing similarities in diploma or seminar papers, the new system will enable comparison among published articles, books and other scholarly works. All the texts will be deposited in an electronic "Repository", accessible to the public. For the enhancing of the project the universities were given a subsidy of over 13 mil. CZK.
