Taiwan Nature Treasure Map Program


Here’s an exciting opportunity! Don’t Miss it!


The Ministry of Education, Taiwan is offering talented young individuals ages 20-30 to visit, view, and learn about our beautiful island, Formosa better known as the R.OC. on Taiwan.


Organized by the School of Forestry and Resource Conservation at National Taiwan University, individuals selected would take on a 5 week internship at some of the most breathtaking National Parks and Natural Areas.


     Below is a brief break down of the Taiwan Nature Treasure Map Program by TEEP. The official program handout has been posted below.



  • English speaking international youth aged between 20-30 years old .
  • Preferably with a background in natural science, recreation/tourism or communication/journalism, photography, video making and creative writing skills.



It is a Summer Program that ends on August 10th, just before most classes begin.

The Program runs as followed:

3-day orientation (6/30-7/2)

5-week internship (7/4-8/8)

1-day closing ceremony (8/10)



What you require to apply:

  • University transcript (scanned electronic file in PDF)
  • Copy of student ID (scanned electronic file in PDF)
  • Head photo (electronic file in JPEG ONLY with high resolution)
  • Passport copy (scanned PDF or JPEG file with high resolution)
  • A recommendation letter


There is NO program fee, but you will need to pay for your own local travel, food and personal expenses (about USD $600) or any personal activities. FREE accommodation will be provided at the internship sites. Limited homestay options might be available during the orientation and closing ceremony in Taipei. However, if you need to stay in the hotel, you will have to pay for it.

 An additional Scholarship is available for the value of up to NTD 15,000 (USD $450) granted after completion of the program.
