The program of “New Partnership Program for the Connection to the Top Labs in the World” has been conducted by the National Science Council for three years. Dozens of outstanding research teams from academic institutes were selected to participate in this program each year in Taiwan. Through the financial and administrative supports by NSC, researchers would be able to carry out the research collaborative work in overseas host institutes smoothly. The application form in English is also listed as the 2nd attachment in the same page. The due date of proposal should be submitted before June 15. Once the proposal is admitted, the program shall start on Sep. 1, 2012 and end on Aug. 31, 2013. This year, NSC includes more host institutes than ever. The list will be updated again by the early of May. Based on the current list, there are three hosts within the service area of Science and Technology Division, TECO in Houston. They are The University of Texas MD Cancer Center at the Texas Medical Center, National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Two more renowned universities will join the list in the later announcement.
