We would like to invite you to attend the 2019 Severe Weather and TAHOPE Planning Workshop to be held on 23-24 September 2019 in Taipei, Taiwan.
The conference will discuss scientific issues associated with the “Taiwan-Area Heavy rain Observation and Prediction Experiment (TAHOPE)”, which will be conducted from August 2019 to July 2022 to investigate the severe weather associated with Mei-Yu fronts, mesoscale convective systems (MCSs), and landfalling typhoons near Taiwan. Because of the upcoming TAHOPE project, and reviewing previous major international field experiments, we would like to invite you to attend this conference on 23-24 September 2019 at Taipei. The conference will feature 4 plenary talks, 9 invited talks from U.S.A., Japan and Taiwan. The conference venue will be the Howard Civil Service International House at Taipei near National Taiwan University.
We look forward to seeing you in the conference.
